Use the Zekazi canvas with confidence
The whiteboard combines freeform drawing, structured visual tools, collaboration, voice, AI, and export workflows in one workspace. Start simple and add only the tools that help the work.
Move around the canvas
With Select active, drag true empty canvas to move around the board. The cursor changes to a grab hand automatically.
Hold Space and drag whenever you want a temporary pan shortcut without changing tools.
Use normal trackpad movement, the mouse wheel, Shift + wheel for horizontal movement, or middle mouse drag.
Use the percentage control to zoom, return to 100%, or fit your current content to the screen.
Core creation tools
Select, move, resize, format, and arrange board objects. Object interactions take priority over canvas panning.
Draw or annotate freely, then erase strokes or board content when you no longer need them.
Add editable written content for ideas, explanations, tasks, and structured thinking.
Open Items for shapes, frames, layouts, components, icons, and reusable visual building blocks.
Tables
Add an editable table when the board needs structured information. Tables support rows, columns, editable headers, and different column types such as text, status, person, number, and tags.
Organize and resize
Select content to access contextual formatting and resize controls. You can move individual items, use multiple selection, group related content, and arrange the board freely without turning it into a fixed document layout.
Board names, saving, and multiple boards
Rename the active board from the top bar and use Boards to move between your whiteboards. Regular boards save automatically in the current browser. Export important work when you want a portable backup.
Collaborate on the same board
Signed-in users can use Share to invite other people into the same collaboration board. Participants work together on the shared canvas, see ongoing changes, and keep the work in one place.
Use voice during collaboration
Supported collaboration sessions can include live voice so participants can talk while drawing, brainstorming, teaching, reviewing, or planning together. Your browser or device asks for microphone permission before voice can use your microphone.
You can mute yourself, choose an available microphone input, and leave the voice session without leaving the board.
Export or connect a document service
Use export when you need a portable copy. Zekazi supports PNG, PDF, and JSON board data. Signed-in users can also connect Google Docs or Notion and create a new external document from text extracted from the board.
Work with Zekazi AI
Use the AI panel when you want help understanding, organizing, or changing the current board. Zekazi AI can work with supported whiteboard objects and diagrams, but important output should still be reviewed before you rely on it.
Add a document source to Zekazi AI
After connecting Google Docs or Notion, use Document source in the AI area to choose one authorized document. That source remains selected until you change or remove it, allowing follow-up questions without repeatedly pasting the same link.
Zekazi AI can read the selected document for relevant requests and perform supported targeted edits when you explicitly ask it to change the external document. Full-document destructive actions are restricted.
