How Zekazi works
Zekazi is a visual workspace for thinking, planning, teaching, explaining, and building ideas together. Start on the whiteboard, add structure only when you need it, and use collaboration, voice, AI, or external tools only when they improve the work.
Start directly on the canvas
You can open the whiteboard and begin working without creating a project first. The canvas supports freehand drawing, text, notes, checklists, shapes, frames, tables, layouts, components, icons, and other reusable items.
Write, draw, add structured items, or place reusable visual elements from the Items library.
Move, resize, format, group, and arrange content so the board reflects how you think.
Ask Zekazi AI to understand the board, create supported objects, build diagrams, or help improve what is already there.
Invite collaborators, use voice in supported shared sessions, export a portable copy, or send board text to a connected Google Docs or Notion account.
Move around naturally
When Select is active, dragging true empty canvas pans the board automatically. You can also hold Space and drag, use the middle mouse button, or use a trackpad. The canvas navigation is separate from moving objects, so grabbing an item still edits or moves that item.
Use structure when the board needs it
The Items library brings together shapes, frames, smart layouts, components, and icons. Tables are editable board objects with typed columns, rows, and cells. When a table box is resized, its columns adapt to the available space while keeping readable minimum widths.
Sign in only when account features are needed
Zekazi supports Google sign-in and email magic links. Local whiteboard work can begin without signing in. Collaboration, collaboration voice, connected document services, and other protected actions require authentication so access can be checked safely.
Saving and collaboration
Regular boards save automatically in the current browser. Shared boards also keep a protected server copy for authorized members. Collaboration uses signed-in accounts and temporary one-time invite credentials. Each unused invite code expires after 60 minutes.
Use voice during shared work
Supported collaboration boards can include live microphone audio. Voice is optional and belongs to the same live collaboration session. A user must already have collaboration access before joining voice, and your browser asks for microphone permission before Zekazi can publish audio.
Voice does not start a separate timer or use a separate allowance. When the first invited editor joins, the shared 20-minute collaboration session starts for everyone. You can mute or unmute yourself and choose a microphone when the browser exposes more than one input.
Connect Google Docs or Notion
From supported export and document workflows, signed-in users can authorize Google Docs or Notion without sharing their provider password with Zekazi. A board export creates a new Google Doc or Notion page from extracted whiteboard text.
Use an external document with Zekazi AI
After a provider is connected, you can choose one authorized Google Doc or Notion page as the active document source. Zekazi AI can use that selected document for relevant questions, summaries, and supported targeted edits. The selected source stays active until you change or remove it.
External document content is treated as untrusted data. Zekazi restricts destructive document actions and requires an explicit user request before applying supported edits to the selected document.
